At Orbarista, we stand behind the quality of our specialty coffee products and equipment. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you're not happy with your order, we've created a straightforward process to make things right.
Return Window & Eligibility
30-Day Return Period You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return. This gives you plenty of time to evaluate your purchase and determine if it's right for you.
What's Returnable:
- Unopened, unused products in original packaging with all seals intact
- Minimally used items (tested once or twice, showing no signs of wear)
- All original packaging materials, boxes, and accessories included
- Products purchased directly from Orbarista.com or authorized retailers
What We Cannot Accept:
- Items used heavily or showing visible wear, staining, or damage beyond normal inspection
- Products without original packaging or missing accessories
- Items purchased more than 30 days ago
- Clearance or final sale items (clearly marked at checkout)
- Custom or made-to-order products once production has begun
- Items damaged due to misuse, neglect, or accidents after delivery
How to Start Your Return
Step 1: Contact Us (Within 30 Days) Email us at info@orbarista.com with your order number and a brief description of why you'd like to return the item. We typically respond within 24 business hours on weekdays.
Step 2: Return Authorization Once we receive your request, we'll review your order details and respond with either approval or an explanation if the item doesn't qualify for return. We may ask for photos if the condition of the item is unclear.
Step 3: Ship Your Return If approved, we'll provide you with a prepaid return shipping label via email. You won't pay for return shipping on most items. Pack your item securely and drop it off at any carrier location. Please keep your tracking number.
Step 4: We Receive & Inspect Once your return arrives at our facility, we'll inspect the item within 5 business days to confirm it matches our return conditions. You'll receive an email confirmation that we've received your return.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will be refused and returned to you at your expense.
Refund Processing Timeline
Approval to Refund: 5-7 Business Days After inspecting your return, we'll notify you via email whether your refund has been approved or if we've identified any issues.
Refund Issued: 10 Business Days If approved, your refund is automatically processed to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, or PayPal account) within 10 business days of approval. We do not issue refunds to alternative payment methods.
Bank Processing: 5-10 Additional Business Days Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account. This timing depends on your financial institution, not on us. Some banks process refunds within 1-2 business days, while others may take up to 10 business days.
Total Timeline: 20-27 Business Days From the moment you email us to when the funds appear in your account, the full process typically takes 3-4 weeks. Weekends and holidays may extend this timeline.
Damaged or Defective Items
Inspect Immediately Upon Delivery We encourage you to open and inspect your order within 24 hours of delivery. This allows us to quickly resolve any issues.
What Qualifies as Damaged:
- Cracked or broken equipment
- Dents, bends, or structural damage from shipping
- Non-functional parts or components
Report Issues Immediately Email info@orbarista.com with your order number, photos of the damage, and a brief description. Include photos of the packaging and the damaged item from multiple angles.
Our Response: 24 Hours We'll respond within one business day with a solution. For defective or damaged items, we typically replace the product at no charge rather than process a traditional return.
Replacement or Refund: You can choose either a replacement shipped immediately or a full refund. If you choose a replacement, we'll send it with priority shipping at no cost. If you choose a refund, we'll process it using the timeline above.
